Issue Description
On Muir Island, as Nightcrawler works on Cerebro, the unit explodes. Shortly, Spiral appears with an unconscious Meggan in tow, and is attacked by Nightcralwer. Spiral overcomes Kurt, but is subdued by Pete Wisdom and Shadowcat, who phases Spiral down through the floor. Meggan recovers and tells Wisdom they need Spiral's help to rescue Brian Braddock, who's been abducted by the Dragons of the Crimson Dawn.
In Hong Kong, the Dragons begin to siphon Brian's powers in order to break the barrier between Earth and the Crimson Dawn.
Back at Excalibur's HQ, the team continues its fight against Spiral, which Meggan finally puts a stop to. Spiral explains how she was caught by the Dragons and made a thrall of the Crimson Dawn. Excalibur and Spiral agree to teleport to where Brian is being held. Then, a ghostly monk glimpsed earlier by Meggan, briefly appears.
