Issue Description
On Muir Island, while Piotr paints an abstract portrait of Meggan, which she intends to give Brian as a wedding gift, Brian views a message from Frenzy of the Acolytes, recorded at the X-Men's former Australlian headquarters. The message asks Colossus to return to the Acolytes. Nightcrawler gathers the rest of Excalibur to go to Australia to investigate.
There, Colossus enters a hatch, but is trapped and separated from the others, when a hidden door locks his within. As his teammates enter through another hatch farther away, Colossus is held in stasis by Unuscione. She and Scanner try to persuade him to rejoin them, but when he adamantly refuses, they leave. Excalibur returns home.

Volume Description
After the X-Men seemingly died during the Fall of the Mutants, X-Men's Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler teamed up with Captain Britain and Megan to save Rachel Grey and soon formed the British superhero team Excalibur! Excalibur was created by Chris Claremont and Alan Davis. Excalibur started in Excalibur Special Edition before they got their own monthly series.
The series lasted for 125 issues after witch the team disbanned and Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde returned to the X-Men.
