Volume Description
The new volume of DC's flagship title, Detective Comics, following the post-Flashpoint relaunch of the DC Universe. Originally launched as a standard book, the title received a back up feature starting with issue #8. The title launched with Writer/Artist Tony Daniel at the helm, who would leave shortly after a full year on the title, to become the regular artist on Action Comics. With Daniel's departure, writer John Layman, and artist Jason Fabok took his place as the new creative team.
April 2013's issue #19 was an extra large anniversary issue, as combined with the first volume of the series, it was the 900th issue of Detective Comics published, yet DC wanted to retain the numbering.
