Inspired by the epic poem BEOWULF, Kid Beowulf follows the adventures of Beowulf and Grendel as 12-year-old twin brothers, traveling to distant lands and meeting fellow epic heroes therein. This edition by creator Alexis E. Fajardo was self-published in 2005 and features an early version of the Kid Beowulf story. This edition is out of print.
The series was picked up by Bowler Hat Comics and rebooted in 2008 under the title "Kid Beowulf and the Blood-Bound Oath." Book two, "Kid Beowulf and the Song of Roland" was published in 2010 and book three, "Kid Beowulf vs. El Cid" is set to debut in 2012.
The Kid Beowulf series is similar to Asterix, Bone, and Usagi Yojimbo.

Kid Beowulf is an all-ages graphic novel series by Alexis E. Fajardo. Inspired by the epic poem BEOWULF, Kid Beowulf follows the journey of 12-year-old twin brothers Beowulf and Grendel as they travel to distant lands and meet fellow epic heroes therein.
