Issue Description

Meet Gully, the only daughter of Aramus, as she reads a story on a stormy night at home with her nanny awaiting her fathers return.   Unknown to her, her father has a trap set to catch people posing as royal guards.
 
Royal guards arrive who have been searching for the missing Aramus ask for shelter  from the storm and once inside they transform into the were-men. and take out Aramus and his men with ease. Nanny  knows the plan and knows the men are there for the box. She takes Gully and gets her out of the house with the box and locking herself inside gives Gully time to escape and take the box to safety.

This glossy story arc introduces the characters of Gully, Garisson, Monkia, Knolan and Calibretto and drops us into a battle over magical battle gloves that give the wearer enormous strength. Although it ran for so few issues it had a lasting impact on the comic book scene and the character of Red Monika has been especially well received.
