Issue Description
Matt, still depressed over Karen's death, puts all his energy into building his law firm. Meanwhile we learn of a deaf woman, Maya, whose father was killed when she was child, she is both a concert pianist and a boxer, and under the watchful eye of Wilson Fisk. Back with Matt, the office is finished and they have a client who has a contract on his head, courtesy of the Kingpin, and has information that can put away the Kingpin, but he wants his safety guaranteed. Then the man is shot. Daredevil chases after the shooter, and then takes him down and his identical twin brother. When pushing the redial button, he is connected to Wilson Fisk and makes his challange clear. We then see Fisk asking Maya for a favor.

Volume Description
Volume 2 (continued from volume 1)
Part of the Marvel Knights imprint, with a top writer Kevin Smith and artist Joe Quasada at the series' helm. With issue 26, Brain Micheal Bendis took over the series, which lasted until issue 81, making it one of the longest running and most critically acclaimed runs for any writer on the character. After issue #119, the series reverts to its original numbering of volume 1 with issue #500, collecting two volumes into one. The volume ends at issue #512. After this point it becomes Black Panther: Man Without Fear. Daredevil's adventures continued with Daredevil Volume 3.
