Issue Description
Cowboy Picture Library (1950)
Publisher
Fleetway
Volume Description

468 issues of this "Picture Library" were published from April 1950 to  September 1962, starting as "Cowboy Comics" featuring American B-Movie star Buck Jones it would change the title somewhat over the years, at first having to a rotating roster of heroes such as Kit Carson, Davy Crockett, and the Kansas Kid, till by the end of its run turning to single character issues while keeping the numbering, theme and form.

As with other comics from Fleetway in the 50’s it was a 64 page digest sized comic with color covers and black & white interior.

At first Fleetway wanted to make this comic their first published in same dimensions American comics as so much of it at first was coming from reprints of American Western comics, cost however prohibited this.
