“Marriage Can Wait”Kay Brandon and Roy Wakefield have been engaged for a while but Roy always seems to find an excuse to postpone marriage. Despite finding a home, Roy feels he has to postpone again when family matters take all his money. Kay breaks up with him and begins courting the exciting Michael. She gets so swept up with Michael that she gets excited about a wedding proposal after only a few dates. She is unsure, however, as Michael’s new job would take them to South America. Her hesitation sends him into a rage and he drives the two of them off a bridge. In the hospital, Kay realizes what a good thing she had in Roy. Roy does some soul searching and decides to marry Kay if she will still take him. She will.
“The Dare She Took”Carol’s roommate announces that she’s found a job working as a party girl. She makes more money in one night then both girls normally make in one week. Carol agrees to try it out and has a lovely time keeping old men company. As she is leaving, however, she is stopped by a private detective, Phil Wayne, who believes she might be stealing from the partiers. Carol is furious and proves her innocence. She also slaps the detective on her way out. She storms home and finds the detective followed her. He wants to date her. She reluctantly agrees and the two eventually fall into an odd kind of love. She hates, however, that his job always seems to get in the way. She has enough one night and joins Mildred on another party. Phil happens to be working the party. Carol goes off with a man who tries to get fresh. She pushes him away and he crumples to the ground. Phil seems to be the only one to stand by her. The autopsy reveals that the man died of a heart attack and nothing that Carol could have done. With that scare out of the way, Carol renews her love for Phil.
“High Pressure Romance”Arlene Ellis is the secretary for the very wealthy Mrs. Dudley. She accompanies Mrs. Dudley around the world. Sadly, Arlene can’t be with her boyfriend, Mrs. Dudley’s nephew Earle. Mrs. Dudley hates Earle because she caught him forging checks. Arlene can’t believe it and has a secret relationship with Earle on the side.
While on a ski trip, Arlene crashes into playboy Kirk Martingale. He is very forward and kisses her immediately. Arlene doesn’t know what to think but starts to question her love for Earle as she travels. It doesn’t help that Kirk follows her wherever she goes.
Mrs. Dudley finally lays out her case against Earle. Arlene is in shock. Even more so when Mrs. Dudley informs Arlene that she will be inheriting all her estate. Arlene reels that she can’t trust her feelings for Earle. Fortunately, Kirk is there to help her sort out her feelings. She welcomes him with open arms.
“They Called Me a Heartless Flirt”Drusilla, the daughter of a wealthy newspaper man, quickly falls in love with Jerry Norwood. An engagement party is thrown in her honor but she arrives early to find Jerry putting the moves on the host Betty while admitting that he is only marrying Drusilla for a good job with the father. Drusilla leaves and bumps into a handsome man.
Drusilla doesn’t call off the wedding until the day of by leaving Jerry at the alter. The town gossips go crazy. She meets the handsome man, Tony, again. Tony and Drusilla really hit it off and begin talking marriage. The town begins buzzing again. Then, news of Jerry’s death strikes – he had been drinking himself to death ever since being jilted at the alter and he finally drove off a cliff. Tony takes Drusilla out for a ride and admits to being Jerry’s half brother. He wanted to get Drusilla to walk down the aisle with him so that he could jilt her and get revenge for his brother. He didn’t count on falling in love with her. He breaks up with her but she again goes through with the wedding so as to allow Tony to get his revenge. She walks down the aisle and finds Tony waiting for her. He states that a note was found that explained everything. They are married.

Ace Magazine's primary romance comic. Don't make yourself crazy trying to figure out the numbering scheme. First issue was continued from pulp magazine "Complete Love Magazine" and was marked both #158 and Vol. 26 #2, published in November 1951. Thirty-four issues later, the last one was #191, Vol.32, #4. Comic Vine uses #158-191 for the numbering.
