It is issue # 3 of a new Marvel Comic, that means an obligatory appearance of Spiderman. In This issue Peter Parker is the photographer for a human interest story about shelters for runaway teens. During a meeting he realises that one of the parents is Daggers stepfather.
He is ignorant of the fact that she is now a superhero. He has been searching for Dagger so he can bring her home and give her a normal life. Peter Parker decides he has to tell Dagger that her stepfather is here so she has a chance.

After their popular mini-series from 1983, Cloak and Dagger got their own ongoing series written by Bill Mantlo.
The series only lasted for 11 issues after which their adventures were continued in Strange Tales vol. 3.
