When Mark Twain said that "a good woman's just a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke" thing, he hadn't met these two Clive Barker firebrands...
A femme fatale so diabolical that she connives to outwit a Cenobite for his position and power, elevating the battle of the sexes to new proportions... And Morte Mamme, the death mother, leading her cult of seven into battle against the legions of stormtroopers of the abyss. It's a battle from which some will not return...
These two ladies don't just smoke...they're looking to burn.

Volume Description
Following the success of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Epic Comics began publishing a series of comic book spinoffs for the Hellraiser franchise. The series ran from 1989 to 1993, each issue containing a set of short stories, with creator Clive Barker acting as a consultant on all of them.
In 2011, Boom! Studios began reprinting select comics from this series under the title Hellraiser: Masterpieces (1 & 2). They also launched a new Hellraiser series, written by Clive Barker and Christopher Monfette.
