As Abe Sapien is volunteering to go to France to trade is life for Kate's, she finds a way to conclude her adventure in the haunted French village of the Marquis de Fabre.
Though she wasn't able to retrieve the occult book which may have helped Roger's resurrection, his fate is resolved in an otherworldly confrontation, and each member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defenses confronts the truth of their own deaths-which each has had to face alone.

Written by Mike Mignola and John Arcudi, illustrated by Guy Davis (and Mignola in an uncredited epilogue).
