Issue Description
The secret war against the frogs is no longer secret as an ancient monster-god marches across the devastated American heartland. Air Force bombs and missiles are useless against it, so how can the B.P.R.D., on the verge of total collapse, hope to stop it? The answer lies in a dream and in the bottom of a dresser drawer of a man who never existed.
Number 22 in the B.P.R.D. series.
Katha Hem has been summoned by the frogmen and The Black Flame. It's leaving a trail of destruction across the United States.
The Black Flame, taken hostage by the frogmen, is used as a beacon to lead it while the Army is using various weaponry to destroy it, unsuccessfully.
Director Manning is refusing Ben Daimio's resignation at the B.P.R.D., while Liz Sherman is having another vision, helped by the mystic powers of Johann Kraus, leading her to a mysterious artefact in Roger's room.
