The art style is drawn in a gritty urban realistic style by Jake Estrada who combines it with a unique cinematic style with Boricua rendering techniques. The graphic novel is packed with visuals that will enlighten the senses by utilizing several different tones and with the gritty commentary that gives the viewer an engaging experience. Once you are finished with the book you will want to read more about Bocas. This book also introduces Boricua influences which have never been seen in any modern comic book. The book was original released in late 2005, and has been finally fully collected here.
