Issue Description
Bob's a down-and-out philosopher panhandling his way across the cosmos with his partner Buck Fifty. In this first issue, Bob and Buck are aboard a starship carrying Crown Prince Chazza of Gazza. Mayhem results when Khund pirates board the vessel, prompting Vril Dox of R.E.B.E.L.S., for reasons of his own, to send Lobo and Stealth into the thick of it.
Bob, the Galactic Bum (1995)
- Publisher
- DC Comics
Volume Description
4 part mini-series from 2000AD regulars John Wagner, Alan Grant and Carlos Ezquerra starring the galactic homeless man Bob and his sidekick Buck Fifty.
The Creators owned the rights to Bob the Galactic Bum, but the initial series took place in the DC Universe with Lobo and other LEGION guest stars. This meant that when the comic was reprinted in the pages of Judge Dredd Megazine, the DC characters were replaced with substitutes (Lobo became a large lesbian named Asbo for example).
