But supernatural powers can be a blessing or a curse, and when it comes to the powers of the Scarab, you don't get one without the other. Jaime's life never gives him any peace and quiet whether its run-ins with Phantom Stranger, calls from Oracle, journeys through a Mother Box, or an alien invasion bent on enslaving the human race!

This volume also introduces Brenda and Paco and showcases the Jaime's first interaction with the Scarab and all the insanity that ensues afterword!

After this volume was cancelled, Jaime's adventures continued as a co-feature in the back of Booster Gold in the following issues: 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, and 29.
