Issue Description
Black Canary is captured by gangster Jackie Pajamas and sentenced to a life of slavery in a third-world backwater. And even if the Canary can escape her bonds, can she evade the clutches of her taskmaster: Hellhound?
Black Canary is captured by Pajama's men, and imprisoned where Oracle begins working out a cover story to buy the hero some time. Jason then comes in where he unties the Canary as he takes down her guard, as they prepare to escape from the chopper. However the two are recaptured with the earrings Canary uses to communicate with Oracle being taken in the process, as a devastated Barbara grows increaseingly distraught for having put Canary in this situation. Meanwhile the Black Canary awakens to find herself on a plantation, where Pajama's victims are forced to work.
As Canary is sent back to work in the fields, Hellhound arrives revealing Dinah's true identity to his employer. She then meets Jason in line for water and continues plotting an escape attempt, which he refuses to go along with as he has been blinded by the flash from a gunshot.
