Issue Description
Special MONTE HALE tribute issue!! As a tribute to the last of the great movie cowboys, MONTE HALE is in the spotlight this issue, as star of the stunning color cover and in two interior stories; “Safe-Crackers Unlimited” (drawn by Ed Good ) and an untitled lead story, illustrated by the great Gil Kane. In addition, there is a special guest-editorial in the form of a heartfelt tribute to Monte from fan Bill Durham. But that’s not all, as all of your regular BOW favorites are here, too- The HAUNTED HORSEMAN in “The Return of Magico”; as drawn by the master, Dick Ayere; RED MASK in “The Weapons of Redmask” by Frank Bolle; and Durango Kid in “Two-Gun Tot”, with art by Fred Guardineer. As always, it’s the best in vintage Western comic book reprints; full stories flawlessly reproduced. 44 pages, black & white with color covers; 10″ X 6″ comic book format, saddle stitched.
