Reprints stories from the pages of British weekly science fiction anthology comic 2000AD, covering all the classic stories from the early years of 2000AD, including Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Nemesis the Warlock, ABC Warriors, Robo-Hunter and Ace Trucking Co.

119 monthly issues were published (one issue short of ten years consecutive monthly publishing), before the title was relaunched as Classic 2000AD to tie in with the release of the 1995 Judge Dredd movie. This title lasted 15 issues before being cancelled.
