Volume Description
Dubbed The Beano's BIG brother, BeanoMAX was a monthly publication aimed at an older age-range than its weekly counterpart, with more feature content alongside the comic strips. In the latter half of it's run, it was home to Wallace and Gromit. It ran for 79 issues, ending in June 2013. It replaced The Beano Summer Special and was replaced by the 100% Official Dennis the Menace and Gnasher Megazine, a tie-in to the 2013 Dennis the Menace and Gnasher cartoon, which retained MAX's numbering in order to avoid retailers rejecting the new comic launch.
