The legend was born in the flames of battle on the Normandy Beach... Lr. Moose Amberg, never in combat before, emerged from the first week of fighting as the hero of his company! No obstacle the Nazis put up could stop the ex-pro football player! Moose Amberg laughed at death... and attacked... and attacked... and won time and time again! Moose Amberg's legend was growing then!

The Stupid P.F.C.

For instance, it was stoop Monahan, PFC, who used his flashlight to look for a dropped grenade... with the German artillery zeroed in on the Belgian road they were checking! The Nazi gunners wasted no time...
