Issue Description

The bodiless head of a young cyborg girl is found in a scrapheap by cybernetic doctor, Ido.  Ido gives her the name, Alita, since she is an amnesiac, and creates for her a body.  Becoming like a father to her, Alita and Ido develop a familial relationship.

Together, they fight violent criminals.  After having the body Ido initially created for Alita destroyed in combat, Ido reluctantly gives her the extremely powerful 'Berserker' body; concluding that if she is to be a warrior, then he will give her the body of a warrior.

Alita is incredibly adept in her fighting skills, this sets the stage for the mystery of Alita's origin.

Alita engages in violent combat with Makaku, a sociopath who eats the brains of his victims for the high he gets from their endorphins.  Will she prevail?
