Alita arrives on space station Ketheres to rescue her friend Lou's brain, which has been stolen and plugged into a vast array powering an A.I. known as "Melchizedek"! Before Alita can get over her culture shock, she gets embroiled in the vicious squabbles of a league of planets who have harnessed the secret of immortality itself!

Alita travels to the space city of Ketheres(tethered to Tiphares and in orbit around Earth) to find the brain bio-chip of her friend, Lou, which is being used to help power a massive A.I. called Melchizedek. Alita finds that space and the planets are populated by many people, robots and varioius political parties.
