Issue Description

The darkness of Batman’s cave, and his past, is oppressing his young protégé and kidnap victim Dick Grayson. Can the boy exchange his white-bread world for the underworld, or has Batman made the worst decision of his life?

The sins of the father are visited upon Robin as Damian lands him in the infirmary. Batman begins a dangerous mission to find out if Damian’s really a chip off the old block, or if he’s still ensnared in Talia Al Ghul’s apron strings…

The fight to save Earth rages on, but this time the happy ending is far from certain. When the forces of evil masquerade under the guise of truth, justice, and the American way, a superhero’s work is never done.

Volume Description

Batman Legends was an anthology comic book printed exclusively for the UK by Titan Comics under license from DC Comics. It was the second volume of Batman Legends (the first volume was published by Panini found here). It was sold in the U.K. and Ireland. After 57 issues it was cancelled and replaced by Batman Comic.

Included reprinted titles such as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Batman, All Star: Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder, Robin, Nightwing, Detective Comics, Joker's Asylum, Superman/Batman, Batman Confidential and Final Crisis. Later issues reprinted mostly recent Batman titles.
