Grant Morrison’s psychedelic trip into the Dark Knight’s past continues in this issue of Batman Legends. Bruce Wayne, bleeding, beaten and gasping for life, is haunted by visions of his career as the Batman. Meanwhile, the mystery of the three Batmen deepens.

Continued from issue #20 of Superman Legends, this story sees Batman teaming up with the Man of Steel to rid the planet of Kryptonite. Now the government is involved, the superheroes are up against Kryptonite-powered super soldiers, and pretty much the whole of the US Armed Forces!

The magician Ivar Loxias has become fascinated with Gotham’s colourful criminal underworld, and now one of his assistants has been murdered on stage. Batman calls on an old friend to help investigate – ex-Justice League member and famed magician Zatanna!

Volume Description

Batman Legends was an anthology comic book printed exclusively for the UK by Titan Comics under license from DC Comics. It was the second volume of Batman Legends (the first volume was published by Panini found here). It was sold in the U.K. and Ireland. After 57 issues it was cancelled and replaced by Batman Comic.

Included reprinted titles such as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Batman, All Star: Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder, Robin, Nightwing, Detective Comics, Joker's Asylum, Superman/Batman, Batman Confidential and Final Crisis. Later issues reprinted mostly recent Batman titles.
