Dredd goes to Gotham, and fights it out with Batman.
Meanwhile, Ventriloquist and his mob are orchestrating a crime.
Dredd stops fighting. He tells Batman that he fought against him in the first place, to stall him. Why? Because a newspaper clipping from Gotham citys very near future was found. It says that Batman died while saving a few kids from an explosion. It was because of Ventriloquist.
Batman notices that he still has time. Dredd curses, for, it seems that he has failed. They both run towards a theater.
Batman saves the kids. Dredd catches Ventriloquist.
The two heroes bid farewell, and Dredd returns to Mega city one.
