Volume Description
PLOT SUMMARYPrivate Investigator James Gordon is set up for the murder of a young lady from one of the wealthiest family's in Gotham, Rachel Hollingsworth. After being Hired by Selina Kyle, girlfriend of Bruce Wayne and Owner of the Kitty Cat Club, to protect the beautiful blonde, ex-sergeant Gordon picks up the bottle half way through the night and everything becomes a blur. Waking up on the beach with the dead blond next to him, Gordon gets thrown in the slammer. DA Harvey Dent calls in a favor and has Gordon released. With his Freedom, Gordon begins to investigate the previous night. After uncovering a trail that leads towards the previously doubted Mayor, things get nasty. To relieve some of the heat thats on him, James reveals to the mayor that one of his inside men is working both sides of the ball. Fed up with purple suit wearing Napier, the Mayors orders his mouth slit from ear to ear. Meanwhile "The Bat" a Gotham spook story reveals himself to Gordon when he attempts to apprehend the wanted criminal.
