Batman is forced to do Hush's biding in order to save Alfred's life, including breaking a prisoner out of Arkham! Batman free's a Clayface in hopes of curing his friend, but not all will go according to plan as Batman has to fight Clayface, Hush and the Police. As if that isn't enough, if Clayface escapes, anything that happens next will fall on Batman! Will Batman save the day and clear Alfred's name?

Volume Description
Gotham Knights was released in May of 2000 following the series Shadow of the Bat. The premises of the series was to focuse more on the other characters in the Batman family such as: Alfred, Huntress, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing. Later, the series focused on Batman's villains. The series ended in April of 2006 following the events of Infinite Crisis.
Issues #1-49 included a back-up Batman: Black & White segment after the success of the original mini-series. They have been collected in Volumes 2 and 3 of Batman: Black and White.
