Issue Description
Alfred has been under the influence of Hush since his kidnapping and as if that isn't enough he is not being framed for murder! Batman races to both find a cure for infection that Alfred has, as well as try to clear his name, all while Hush is in the background slowly making moves that hinder the Batman. The new version of Clayface is forced to work for Hush, now armed with a shape-shifter Hush proves to be all the more dangerous!

Volume Description
Gotham Knights was released in May of 2000 following the series Shadow of the Bat. The premises of the series was to focuse more on the other characters in the Batman family such as: Alfred, Huntress, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing. Later, the series focused on Batman's villains. The series ended in April of 2006 following the events of Infinite Crisis.
Issues #1-49 included a back-up Batman: Black & White segment after the success of the original mini-series. They have been collected in Volumes 2 and 3 of Batman: Black and White.
