Issue Description
Some orphan children, two years after Gotham City's devastating earthquake, become suicidal. Mayor Hull visits Zhang, a chemical weapons cartel industrialist who is conducting experiments on Gotham City teens without families. Poison Ivy recognizes the names and faces of the suicide victims. She realizes that these children were surviving with her and her plants in Robinson Park. She reads the medical examiner's report for one death and believes that she somehow has poisoned them. She searches for some of the other Robinson Park orphans who are still alive.

Volume Description
Gotham Knights was released in May of 2000 following the series Shadow of the Bat. The premises of the series was to focuse more on the other characters in the Batman family such as: Alfred, Huntress, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing. Later, the series focused on Batman's villains. The series ended in April of 2006 following the events of Infinite Crisis.
Issues #1-49 included a back-up Batman: Black & White segment after the success of the original mini-series. They have been collected in Volumes 2 and 3 of Batman: Black and White.
