This title, evidently operating on the premise of a picture being worth a thousand or so words, presents a sampling of these appearances, on covers of issues in his many different ongoing series; trade paperbacks; magazines; and more throughout history. Indeed, his roots aren’t forgotten—covers dating all the way back to Bob Kane’s classic from Detective Comics #31 are included.
