Issue Description
Originally featured in a magazine in Japan over a period (not collected in one volume like a normal comic book; more of a 'story of the month' saga).
Batman: Child of Dreams is about a team of reporters from a popular news station from Tokyo, Japan who go to Gotham City to collect enough evidence and information to create a documentary on the infamous Batman.
Their mission eventually takes a turn for the worse then there's a sudden spree of absurd crimes taking place in the city of Gotham.
For some reason, and more importantly: somehow, people are transforming into their favourite villain or villainess for a day. Identical to their original idol, the only differences is that they are more of a mockery or a parody of the original (real) villain. Secondly, their transformation comes to a conclusion that leads to their deaths.
Who is behind this recent spree of wanna-be villains? What does the Tokyo crew got to do with it? Will the Batman head back to Tokyo as both Bruce Wayne and the dark knight to figure out if a certain fan has taken whatever means necessary to make his or her dreams come true?
