The grounds of a crumbling mansion are the scene of the Batman's hunt for two foes-one a ruthless killer, the other, something that may not even be human.
Bruce Wayne is invited to a murder mystery weekend at the possibly haunted Slade Estate in upstate New York in "Slade's Demon".
Then, in "The Back-Up", Jason Todd discovers his friends at school are changing their grades on a computer.

Volume Description
The first Batman annual was released in 1961. Originally, despite the name annual, the series often released two comics per calendar year. The first 7 annuals were reprints of select stories from the late 50's and early 60's and contained no new stories. There is an 18 year gap between the release of Batman annual 7 and 8.
