The first two issues were published by Armada, an imprint of Acclaim, and the latter two issues were published by Acclaim. The indicias of the first two issues read "BAD EGGS Vol. 1 No. 5 [6] (No. 1 [2] of 4)" and the indicias of the latter two issues read "THE BAD EGGS: That Dirty Yellow Mustard No. 3 [4] of 4 (Vol. 1 No. 7 [8])".
