Avery Fatbottom is nervous to take over her family business of organizing a renaissance fair but ready and willing. A hard-working woman with a lot of people depending on her, she still has time to bother her best friend (another lifer in the ren fair business) and go on dates. Trouble stirs while Avery is showing her gentleman friend, a high school teacher named Benn, around the fair and its just the beginning of a bigger mystery. If you’ve never been to the Renaissance Fair, consider this your first trip so grab a turkey leg and dig in (and we hope you like innuendos).
