The Reaper and The Robot: Part Two
The Avengers West Coast unite together for a meeting to investigate he incident that occurred to Wasp and Hank Pym in the last issue, namely that there are robots in the farm lands of America. The U.S.Agent and Iron Man comment that they recently were told that someone is secretly doing midnight spraying on farm lands in California, and the odd side effect to this spraying is that people's skin turns into metal. Hank Pym instructs the Avengers West Coast to investigate this robot situation, in which Wonder Man forcefully protests. He wants the team to find his brother, the Grim Reaper, who is now a zombie and has taken to killing people every twenty-four hours so he can survive. Wonder Man leaves on his own as the rest of the team searches for any information regarding the robots. Hawkeye, Tigra, and Quicksilver find themselves in an abandoned subway tunnel that had burned down the previous year. When they enter, they are assaulted by sentry robots, but the Avengers West Coast takes them down easily. Then they are confronted by Ultron-13, the latest incarnation, and they lose. They wake up to find themselves captive in tubes and sprayed with the same agent that is being sprayed on the California farm lands at night. It changes people into robots, which is Ultron's main plan.
Meanwhile, Wonder Man comes in contact with his brother, the Grim Reaper, and they begin to fight. Surprisingly, the Mandrill shows up to kill the the Grim Reaper for killing his sister, Nekra. The Grim Reaper kills Mandrill instead, absorbing his life, and gets away. When questioned by the police, Wonder Man lies and says that he does not know who was the killer.
