The Wolf and the Other. This story, written by Macon Blair, with art by Jorge Lucas, and colors by Dave McCaig is a W.W.II story. Set in the frozen wintery forrest of Bastogne, Captain America and Bucky are confronted by a very bloodied, frightened G.I. who babbles on about a murderous giant wolf! He leads the two heroes plus a batallion of soldiers to the clearing where his unit is.....all have been horribly slaughtered!!! The wolf reappears and attacks until suddenly......Thor shows up!! This wolf is an Asgaardian beast that has escaped, and Thor takes it and brings it back. An interesting tale with a twist that I will not ruin here! The original letters page from Avengers #5 on the inside back cover, with the cover from that issue on the reverse round out this splendid book !!
