Backup story: Crack in the Armor, drawn and painted by Michael Avon Oeming. This story involves a silver age Iron Man and Giant Man fighting each other! We later learn that they are only practicing so they'll become better fighters.The two get in a Stark limo and head over to Avengers mansion. They arrive, Giant Man goes in, but Iron Man stays behind in the limo, and has a drink. Thus "a crack in the armor" and the start of Tony Starks's battle with the bottle. A very nice black and white pin -up of Thor with Loki by M.A.Oeming on the inside back cover, and the classic cover to Avengers #3 on the final, make up this issue.
