It breathes a suspicious calm in the village gala, all of it due to the Romans go, after a campaign in Belgium, the Gaulish village to rest! Consequently, the proud chief Vitalstatistix irritated, especially after hearing that, according to Julius Caesar, the Belgians, and they are the bravest of all Gaul. Although Asterix Getafix and oppose the latter, along with Obelix accompany Vitalstatistix eventually to Belgium, where they meet, among others, and Vancomolóquix Gueusealámbix, principal leaders of the Belgian people. After eating with them, decided to organize a contest in which people demonstrate what Gallo is the strongest shattering, of course, Roman camps and claiming further that Julius Caesar arbitrate such competition.
