Issue Description
The comic begins by locating the time and space of the narrative. In 50 B.C. Gaul is occupied by the Roman Empire after the defeat of Vercingetorix against Julius Caesar. But not all Gaul is occupied: there are still a small region, surrounded Roman camps, which resists the invader. This is the village of Asterix.
One day, the warrior Asterix was practicing his favorite sport, hunting, when it was discovered by a patrol of four Roman legionnaires who were defeated easily. They returned to their camp at Compendium and when questioned by the centurion Caius Bonus, informed him that he had left in such poor condition was a single Frenchman who possessed an extraordinary power. Bonus decided to find out the secret of the strength of the Gauls, for which he sent a spy to the village gala.
The Gauls discovered the spy because he left the mustache that had been characterized, but had already tried the magic potion made by the village druid, Getafix. The spy returned to his camp and reported what had happened and showed the strength that now possessed.
Bonus decided to kidnap the druid to force him to reveal the formula for the magic potion with it could become Emperor. The Romans managed to kidnap the druid, but he refused to reveal the formula for the potion, not even managed to get the secret torture.
Asterix Getafix was in rescue and was also captured by the Romans, who now require the druid's magic formula, otherwise tortured to Asterix. The druid devised to prepare a potion that would make them grow hair and beard to the Romans. Bonus Asterix learned that he wanted the magic potion to overthrow Caesar and be him Emperor.
After a while the Druid offered to make an antidote not grow more hair. Bonus accepted and then the druid was prepared, but also made a small amount of magic potion for him and Asterix. When both were escaping from the camp they met a large army coming toward them was Julius Caesar in person. Bonus, returning to his tent, he found that Caesar was informed that the state in which they found was due to the action of two Gauls, the appointment and they will have the idea of becoming Emperor Bonus. Caius Julius Caesar sent his men Bonuses and Lower Mongolia where some barbarians who were bothering and thanks freed the two Gauls.
