RON MARZ returns to the title he helped launch with a self-contained MAGDALENA story foreshadowing his new MAGDALENA series (coming in January) while wrapping up ARTIFACTS! Also inside are two talent hunt winner stories! One a story of the Witchblade deep in the heart of Africa in 1904, and the other a present day story of Tom Judge trying to help a man afflicted with an ancient curse.

"Every Story" (by Steve Foxe and Adalor Alvarez): Set in the early 1900s, a thief and adventurer named Salifah Zayid is sent by Kenneth Irons to retrieve a special piece of jewlery from Josephine Valmont, the current bearer of the Witchblade."With Teeth" (by Ron Marz and -Rom-): Patience, the current Magdalena, battles a demon over consecrated ground. Intended as a prologue for an upcoming Magdalena ongoing series."Fenrir's Curse" (by Jim Mitchel and Fabian Quintero): Tom Judge aids a young priest who has been bitten by a werewolf."Blood And Dust" (by Ryan Cady): Set in the late 1700s, an unnamed Magdalena hunts down a vampire that has been terrorizing Paris. (Note: this is a prose story with no artwork)

Volume Description

Originally, Artifacts was set to be a 13 part crossover event involving all the popular Top Cow characters in a universe changing event. After the arc's conclusion, the series continued as an ongoing title, mostly serving as an anthology series for the Top Cow characters that lacked their own books. Ron Marz wrote the majority of the series but, toward the end of the series' run, issues were penned by past winners of Top Cow's annual talent contest. Artifacts concluded after 40 issues.
