Issue Description
Aquaman settles back in New Venice until it is suddenly and totally destroyed by Ocean Master. The tragedy catapults Aquaman back to Atlantis, where he discovers that ancient talismans dating back to Arion's time are missing!
Ocean Master (Orm) attacks Aquaman's home in New Venice. Orm is now much stronger and has Aquaman on the ropes but then disappears in order to further torment Aquaman with the knowledge he can kill him at any time. Meanwhile the people of Atlantis are rebelling against Aquaman's former policies. Unfortunately this could result in a war with the surface world and to make matter worse the Thierna Na Oge people are believed to have stolen the the seal of rule in Atlantis. Without this it seems likely that war is inevitable. Aquaman tries to retrieve the seal and has to wear a new costume so that he can not be recognized by the people that have him as well as it is a black ops mission that the current king of Atlantis Vulko can not be tied to.

After the lackluster reception to the Aquaman fronted Detroit era of the Justice League, DC attempted a new four issue mini series from writer Neal Pozner and artist Craig Hamilton.
