This one-shot special featured a semi-reboot of the character, including the concept that Arthur's Aquaman costume was an Atlantean prison uniform (which was later ignored in the 90's). The special went in to a 5 issue mini-series Aquaman (1987.)Note: Despite the cover title being "Legend of Aquaman" the Indicia titles this "Aquaman Special".
