At the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight, Angel is left catatonic in Faith's care. With Faith receiving the entirety of the Watcher estate, they have full access to all of the watcher files and notes. Angel still has much to atone for and the lines between his actions and Twilight's are blurred.
