Reuben heads into downtown Chicago on the trail of Ester de la Cristo and with a little help from Mandy and Raul inadvertently destroys the documents that would have allowed the sale of Illinois to Four World Industries. Meanwhile, John Scheiskopf returns, taking over the plexmall in Reuben's absence. Scheiskopf backed by his new friends the A.S.L.C. and the Gotterdamacrats gets himself reinstated into The Plexus Rangers and puts a bounty out on Reuben's head.
