A young girl grows into her mutant powers and learns that she is the daughter of none other than the Purple Man. She runs away from home and finds Northstar during a skiing exhibition and uses her ability to control him. Northstar saves the girl's life from an alligator and realizes that she needs to control her abilities. She commands Northstar to take her to Alpha Flight in the search of assistance.
