Volume Description
The year was 1951 and as super hero comics continued to decline in popularity, many of them mutated into Western, Crime and horror titles. The Super Hero title All-Star Comics being a prime example, as it was re-named All Star Western from issue #58. All-Star Western ran for 10 years as a bi-monthly title and featured characters like the Trigger Twins, Johnny Thunder and Madame.44. After a hiatus in the 60's, the title would return for an 11 issue run in 1970-72, during which DC introduced the tormented character of Jonah Hex.
