The Psycho Pirate still has Green Lantern under his spell and enchants the Flash, while the rest of the JSA try to stop him at his Earth-1 hidden headquarters!
The Justice Society of America convenes, in their headquarters. to discuss the situation with the Golden Age Green Lantern. At that very moment, the Golden Age Green Lantern is attacking the Gotham International Airport. After causing massive destruction, the Golden Age Green Lantern demands monetary compensation, or else he'll make sure no planes can land. In Cape Town, South Africa, Dick Grayson escorts Hourman to a waiting plane. The Justice Society of America confront the Golden Age Green Lantern. While the Golden Age Hawkman and the Star-Spangled Kid deal with damage control, Power Girl and Doctor Fate engage the Golden Age Green Lantern in combat. The intensity of the Golden Age Green Lantern's emotional breakdown leads Doctor Fate to surmise the involvement of the Psycho Pirate. As if on cue, the Psycho Pirate reveals his presence.
The Golden Age Green Lantern deflects Doctor Fate's mystic attack on the Psycho Pirate. Projecting powerful waves of despair, the Psycho Pirate fells Doctor Fate and Power Girl. Hours later, Grayson and Hourman arrive in Gotham City. There, they meet with Police Commissioner Bruce Wayne, to discuss the situation with the Justice Society of America. The Justice Society of America reconvene at their headquarters. Unbeknownst to the team, they are monitored by the Psycho Pirate. Using his power to manipulate emotions, the Psycho Pirate exerts his influence over the Golden Age Flash. Suddenly agreeing with the Golden Age Green Lantern's stance, the Golden Age Flash angrily bolts from the meeting room. Power Girl gives chase, but the Golden Age Flash has already disappeared. Doctor Fate surmises that the Psycho Pirate must be hiding on Earth-1. The Justice Society of America storms the Psycho Pirate's secret lair.
The Golden Age Green Lantern duels with Doctor Fate, ultimately winning their conflict. Despite her matching speed, Power Girl is outmaneuvered by the Golden Age Flash. The Psycho Pirate paralyzes the Golden Age Hawkman and the Star-Spangled Kid with overwhelming terror. Locked in the grip of fear, they are unable to defend themselves as they are beaten into unconsciousness. Only Wildcat remains. Wildcat challenges the Psycho Pirate to face him alone. Once more, the Psycho Pirate broadcasts fear, but Wildcat's training and intense focus steel him against the assault. With one powerful knock-out punch, Wildcat fells the Psycho Pirate. His control lifted, the Golden Age Green Lantern and the Golden Age Flash simply collapse. The team convenes, onboard the Justice League of America's satellite, where they make ready for thier annual get-together. A different meeting is taking place in Gotham City, as Wayne gathers his forces to bring down the Justice Society of America.
