Overview
Three Marines who were deemed "non-vital" by the Company and left to rot on Xenomorph-infested Earth attempt to find proof that the Company was responsible for bringing the Xenomorphs to Earth in the first place. Instead, they find a nuclear reactor set to self-destruct that in 53 minutes will vaporize everything within one hundred square miles. The countdown has begun, and all that stands between these three Marines and their ship are countless Xenomorphs, scumbag Marines turned mercenaries, and worse.

Volume Description
Originally included in Dark Horse Insider vol.1 (Sept. `90-Dec. `91), "Countdown" was later reprinted in two mini-comics included with issues #9 and 10 of Aliens Magazine vol.2 (1992) of the UK. The second issue was printed not as a separate mini-comic, but instead as part of Aliens Magazine #10.
