While not the first British Boys Papers in pictures, it is the first of The Big Five, and while at first much of it is text it is still the real start of what we would call British comics today.
Merged with Rover in 1961, forming Rover and Adventure. It's name would disappear in 1963 when this merged title merged with The Wizard.
