Volume Description
A Nightmare on Elm Street was the first of New Line's horror titles to be published by Wildstorm, with Friday the 13th and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre following in 2007. The opening story arc introduced a new group of teens for Freddy Kruger to hunt, including Jade Arnstrum, who had witnessed Freddy killing her brother in a dream. With her father's help, Jade attempted to save her friends from Freddy and rescue a comatose girl from his dreamworld. Chuck Dixon's script and Kevin J. West's pencils helped to create a suitably nightmarish start for Freddy's latest incarnation.
Issues #1-3 and #5-7 are collected in A Nightmare on Elm Street.
